Did anyone solve "Lantern" just with commands? I think it's not solvable with commands, but requires clicking in order to complete the game.

I'm not sure am I stuck or my python doesn't work or the game is made that way... but I kill wolf, I fight with bear and my health goes to zero and after that I'm thrown at trade prompt to trade with trader.

When I run from bear I end up in trade prompt and after I complete trading I can't do much. There are two locations: field and forest and nothing in any of them. I can nap but nothing happens when I complete my nap. Sometimes trader returns. But can't find bear or anything else to fight or do anything.

So, is that me being stuck, is that my python, or is that all there is in the game?

Found the answer!

How to exit trade prompt?  I'm in the <trade number> cycle and can't exit it. Whatever I enter, <trade number> prompt keeps showing.

I can't complete the third item on todo list. Is it even possible to complete it? If yes, please advise how to complete it. It really slows down my computer to the point it's not playable, and I'd like to see the end,

Also, is it possible to reach the end of game, is there some kind of ending screen? Or we just play until we figure out what happened here?

Lots of keywords that seem important don't work. How to be sure it's by design like that or it's some bug? Can you maybe publish some keywords that should work? Something like walkthru?

Everything else went nicely. It's a nice little game with interesting mechanics.

Reached the end :)

I tried some standard text adventure commands, like "talk to locksmith", "tell locksmith about door" etc. You might check list of standard commands in text adventures from The People's Republic of Interactive Fiction...

https://pr-if.org/doc/play-if-card/play-if-card.pdf

Now I tried 'use the phone' and got locksmith. Now he asks me 'what's the problem' but I can't find a way to respond to him. How to respond to locksmith?

I played the game and I definitelly recognized ELIZA's influence. In some responses more than in others, but it's there.

There is an interesting discussion about differences and similarities between parser IF and chatbots in Jeremy Douglass' disertation "Command Lines: Aesthetics and Technique in Interactive Fiction and New Media". It's from 2007. Interestingly, Jeremy also proposed a term 'command line literature' that might include parser IF, MUDs, chatbots and 'other command line textual systems'.

I'm having a problem interacting with phone. What command should be used to make a call?

Same  problem here too. I gave 1-5 stars in every category but when submitting I got message that I didn't rate Writing (although I did rate it). I can save my ratings in any way.

I found few bugs along the way. Let me know if you need them and how to send them.

Seems there is another way to deal with monster. I just succeeded with that other method.

yes, i tried that. I get "You can't do that right now."

Is there any other requirement (i do have both food and meal in my inventory) for this action?

I know what I should mix, but having problem finding the correct command. Can you help with command?

When I play command "examine bushes", I get response: "Just plain looking green bushes with some white flowers."

Is there anything I must perform to get raspberries here? It is in deep forest, is there bushes in some other areas (I couldn't find any). But I still didn't climb the hill. Hope raspberries are not there.

Stuck again... raspberries... I found bushes, but can't find the right command to pick raspberries from bushes. If these bushes are the right ones.

What is the correct command for putting splinters next to stove?

Once I type "bucket" I'm on a page that describe bucket. Is there a way to return from bucket description to room description with parser and without clicking the red bucket link?

Hmm, I completed a mini game several times but can't complete the game. Every time I pass by blue sensor it says 'You get blueprint', but after that it adds 'You can't have that'. So, I never get the blueprint. Is there maybe maximum number of items in inventory? I have 3 items in inventory atm, and maybe I can't get blueprint because I can't have more than 3 items? But, I also can't drop anything from my inventory. Well, I'll play from start trying to keep inventory less than 3 (in case that's the problem).

EDIT> Yeah, when I had two items in inventory I was able to complete mini game and receive blueprint.

I thought parser is used for moving character within room. But instead arrows are used for that. :)

Thanks! Is there a way to move inside room? I'm trying to press button in first room and it says I'm too far away from button. How to get closer to button?

Very nice game! Do you maybe have list of commands used in game?

Got my tape today in the mail. It's gorgeous!

You can use 'x' as shorthand for 'examine'... 'x barman' etc.

Thanks for your answer.

This looks interesting. Did you use one of the existing tools for text adventures or you made your own system?

Fun little game, I like it. Disaster averted! ;)

Excellent game!! Enjoyed it quite a lot.

Thanks! It worked. I did TAKE KEY WITH..., but seems TAKE doesn't work as GET.

Can you help with comnand for taking key? I have everything I need in my inventory but can't find the right verb to take key.

Can't find the right combo to end the game. Can you maybe share the exact command? I tried all possible adverbs alone and in combination with yes and sure.

Thanks! As a geocacher I enjoyed in this. :)

Thank you!

I found three caches and have 45/50 points. I'm at the port trying to board my ship. When I say BOARD SHIP it asks "Are you sure you want to board and end you adventure?". Can find the right command here. I tried YES, SURE, and number of others, but nothing works. Can you share the right command for boarding? Or maybe this is not actual end?
